Want to engage the public with your science?

Want to discuss how your research impacts on people's lives?

Want to develop new ways to communicate your results to the public?

If so, then come along to the communication workshop “Opening Nitrogen Science to the People”, in Madrid (Spain) this October.

The workshop will be held over five days, with the first day devoted to invited speakers from the media, education, NGOs and professional consultants.

Subsequent days will be devoted to group projects developing and demonstrating novel communication methods. The workshop will end with various excursions around Madrid sites related to science communication.

All accommodation and meals will be provided and travel costs will be reimbursed (up to 400 Euros).

More information can be found here. If you are interested in attending this event, please fill in the application form and send to Mark Theobald (mrtheo@ceh.ac.uk) with a copy to Alberto Sanz Cobeña (a.sanzcobena.agronomos@upm.es) by 31 August 2008.
